Gareth is on your dog's side.

Gareth Cummings founded Pablo's in Worcester in 2019. He holds an APDT Foundation qualification, and has spent seven years walking groups of dogs professionally and three years teaching training classes.

He specialises in focused support for larger dogs and nervous dogs, with handling tailored to each one so they feel safe and understood. Video calls, coming soon, will bring that same approach to owners who can't get to Worcester.

How he works, and what owners say about it.

Your dog's side first

Pablo's describes itself as dog advocates. Before asking how to stop a behaviour, Gareth asks what the dog is getting out of it, and whether what we're asking of them is fair.

“My dog is sensitive and can feel anxious on lead, so Gareth came to meet us and we talked through everything about her and his experience.”
Georgina H., on Facebook

Explain the why

A tip you don't understand stops working the first time something changes. So you get the reasoning along with the exercise, and you can adapt it yourself.

“he answers questions but gives us a deep explanation as to why our dog does or acts a certain way”
Josh P., on Facebook

Go at the dog's pace

Nervous dogs don't get braver by being pushed. Progress is measured in what your dog can cope with today, and the plan moves when they do.

“He's built a good relationship with Lola, moving at her pace, and reading her body language to support her as needed”
Natalie R., on Facebook
